Story Outline:
Mere
Humsafar is a drama that is based on domestic issues. The drama is about the
story of a girl Hala. She is an innocent and good-looking girl. She is good at showing her expression naturally. Hala is abandoned by her father due to his
second marriage. Hala is with her grandmother now. At her grandmother's house,
she faces several challenges on daily bases. Mere Humsafar is a mixture of
romance, entertainment, and action. Most of the time, there is a fight between the
characters. Hala every time faces a major allegation about her character throughout
the drama. Every family member doing their best to make a living hell for Hala. Only
hala dadi loved her and give her importance. But on the other hand, all the other
characters hate Hala for her good-looking appearance. She is not as modern as
her other cousins. She is shown as a girl who is waiting for his prince to save
her life from a toxic relationship. In the end, Hamza his cousin comes as life savior.
He is considered hala's biggest support system. He notices the behavior of
others towards Hala. He, at last, married Hala at the mosque to give her a special
place in the house. But still, there is no happiness for hala at all. All other
members still make her life miserable due to their bad behavior. There is amazing
chemistry between Hala and Hamza. They are a perfect on-screen couple. One of the
main reasons for the popularity of this drama is the chemistry between Hala and Hamza.
Hala +Hamza=Love
Conclusion:
Mere Humsafar's drama depicts the joint family system from another angle. We heard that
in the joint family system there is an element of love and care. But as a day goes
on there is no such element found in the joint family system. Hala is the responsibility of his father. But his father hands up his duty and hand over
hala to his grandmother. Hala is due to an inferiority complex, never raised her
voice against her right. Mere Humsafar these days are one of the most engaging serial
due to its typical fairytale events. The story seems like a duplicate version
of Cinderella's fairy tale. Only Hamza is the one who is like a rainbow in the
life of Hala. Pakistani media has a great impact on the younger generation. How long do we still show our generation the negativity in the family? Why we don’t raise
the positivity approach toward family members. There is also criticism of Hala's lifestyle, why she waited so long for her prince charming to put colors on her
life. Why she is not enough to make her stand and go for the right decision. If
Hamza does not come into her life, then she still is on the same version of a bad attitude
toward others. Saira Raza should work on her character specially hala to make her an independent and bold girl. Other international writers come up with new ideas in their
writing. But sadly our Pakistani writers every time discuss the same theme in their
story outline. Most of the time their discussion themes are about love, aggression,
extra-marital affairs, and jealousy. Due to much negativity that is already displayed by media, it’s a high time to show moral standards. Saira Raza by showing the
character of Sameen who is a well-educated girl portrays a jealous version of her. Educated
girls are not like that they are mature enough to know what is wrong and what
is right for them. We would be waiting a little bit more to see what happens at the
end of the drama. At last, it may be possible for Hala can be bold enough to make her
stand.
