His notable works are Piyary Afzal, Mery Pass tum ho, and Sadqy Tumhare. He writes many drama bus his popular ones are Piyary Afzal and Saqdy Tumhare. In the Drama Sadqy Tumhare, Khalil ur Rehman shares his own personal life story. He is against the freedom of women.

Sadqy Tumhare was one of the popular dramas of the contemporary period. The meaning of this drama is “May my years be added to yours”. Sadqy drama is based on a real-life story. The total number of episodes is 27. The original language of this drama is Urdu and Punjabi. It has only one season in total. The running time was in between 36-and 43 minutes approximately. The official soundtrack of Sadqy Tumhare was performed by Rahat Fateh Ali khan.

Story Outline:

Sadqy Tumhare is basically a true love story that sadly does not have a happy ending. It is a true-life story of Khalil ur Rehman according to his interview in different shows. Khalil and Shano love each other as they are engaged in their childhood. Everything is going smoothly, but the story turns when shano's mother represents herself, as a villain. Shano's mother takes revenge on his sister (Khalil’s Mother). Meanwhile, there are many ups and downs in the story. Both shano and Khalil live their own life. Shano is a simple and innocent girl who takes her engagement seriously. On the other hand, Khalil lives in a big city with some aggressive behavior in his personality. All of the shano family members are with her i.e. her khala, Nani, Mamu, and mumani, etc. But her mother is against this relationship between Khalil and shano. Shano's mother has no issue with Khalil but in taking revenge for her self-respect, she is the one who destroys many families. At the start of the story, Rasheeda agrees with the marriage. But as the story begins she shows her real face and makes opposition regarding their relationship. There is beautifully depicted the chemistry between Shano and Khalil. They both have two bodies but internally they are one soul. Sadqy tmhary drama is basically a true depiction of our society. This drama is not a fantasy one, as a general public, we can relate to many scenes with our daily life struggles. At last, Shano's mother's revenge is successful but there is no happy ending.

Conclusion:

We all know that Khalil ur Rehman is famous for his bold scenes and writing. But this time he is famous for writing down his own personal life. We have many writers but very rarely have the courage who can share their personal life issues. For this, we can appreciate the courage and bravery of Khalil ur Rehman. Now come to the interpretation of the story outline. Shano and Khalil won the heart of many viewers with their amazing chemistry. It’s a family-oriented drama that you can even see with your parent. Nowadays we cannot watch drama with our elders due to their bold scenes. But you can see this drama even if it’s a love story. All the scenes of this drama are true and reality-based. According to Khalil re Rehman, there is no additional scene added for the sake of viewers. He says that he even cut some heart-wrenching scenes. Sadqy tumhare drama has beautifully depicted each scene with great effort. My favorite dialogue from this drama is the name of their son in the future. Shano suggests the name Khurram for their future son. She takes “K” from Khalil, R from Rukhsana ( shano real name) and “M” for Muhabat. How beautifully she suggests this name by having so many feelings and emotions in her mind. No doubt this is a masterpiece of literature. But in my opinion, we don’t share our personal life on such a big plate form. It is possible that Khalil ur Rehman is bold enough to write it and face the criticism. But on the other, He has a family and relatives who are not comfortable with this. In the light of the religious background, If Allah has kept your privacy then you do need to tell everyone. If you write such detail, then you may have the courage to face all the negativity which appears as a result of its popularity. He gives clarification of every scene and dialogue, you don’t need to discuss each and everything with others. If you penned down the details of your personal matter, then have the courage to face criticism. It’s very obvious when you share something very personal that people make fun of you and judge you according to their mindset. I personally watched this drama at least four times. Not because it’s a reality-based drama but due to the chemistry between Shano and Khalil. At the end of the story, Shano died due to the depression and sadness of being separated from Khalil. In our society, many girls give sacrifices for the respect of their parents. The same thing is done by Shano, she separates from Khalil according to her parent’s desire. At last Parents’s should respect the choice of their children and children must take guidance from their parents in any worldly matter
