Nida Yasir is the host of the Good Morning Pakistan show. This show is on air on Ary Digital. By occupation, she is a television host as well as Actor. It’s been so long that I want to share my thoughts regarding Nida on her show. Now finally it’s the right time to give my point of view regarding her position in society. I also appreciate her for the good things but also criticize her for her negativity or lack of knowledge. Nida Yasir plays an important role in the Drama Naadaaniyaan which is aired on Geo television. This drama is family-oriented and directed by his Husband. The name of this drama is taken from their family member’s name. N from Nida, D from Danish, and lastly Y from Yasir. She is always on the fire regarding her controversial show. Most of her shows are planned to get ratings. It has been one of the oldest Television shows for almost 10 years. Her content has always appeared as problematic for the social lifestyle.

What she promotes:

In her morning show, she just promotes vulgarity and bold content. She is the host of fantasy life. There are no real-life things shown in her morning show. Every time she just talks about the beauty standard. According to her our women just need to know how to become gora. According to some resources, she does not belong to an educational background so she just wants to tell her audience how to become Gora (white complexion), the so-called beauty standard.  She every time gives different homemade remedies to the women to enhance their external beauty.

Controversies:

In 2015 in her morning show, Nida invited Shabbir Jan for the game show. During the game, Shabbir Jan gets angry and ran after the show. Saud tries his best to calm down him but fails. Later Nida claimed that it is just a planned show to get ratings. From this, it just means that there is no self-respect for the celebrity in terms of rating. How long do our media play with the emotions of people for just the sake of some numbers?

In 2020, Nida invited the parents of the rape victim. During her interview, she asked inappropriate questions from the parents. Instead of giving them hope for the betterment, she raises that frightening scenes in front of the Parents. Girls’ mother in her veil crying from the heart but Nida Yasir enjoys her question answers series. Due to her insensitive questions, she later gives clarification that she wants to educate the general public in the future.

In 2O21, she invites some students of the University for their Success in formula Car. Nida the pretty boring lady has a lack of research. Instead of appreciating the students asking an irrelevant question that make the students confused.

In 2022, there is a Ramadan transmission show “Shan e Suhoor” in which she invited famous cricketer Sarfaraz Ahmed and his wife Syeda khushbaht. In the session of general sawalat, she kept on asking an irrelevant questions from them. Syeda Khushbaht is uncomfortable to tell but she keeps asking Sarfaraz to carry on. In all this scenario she laughs to enjoy the uncomfortable level of other women. She keeps enjoying the private life of other couples by asking irrelevant questions.

Is she really a host whose guests are uncomfortable in front of her?

Ahmed Shah Viral Video:

In her viral video, she keeps provoking little boy Ahmed shah in her show. She continues to make him disturbed throughout the show. Just for the sake of rating, she plays with the aggressive level of a little boy. We do not need such hosts whose are just want to win the race of rating.

Privacy:

She is one of the so-called hosts who has no privacy for her guest. She keeps her privacy but does not care about other couples. She is like a typical aunt who has the curiosity to know everything about others' problems.

Planted shows:

Most of the time she presented the planted show in the name of the reality show. For this, she faces several negative comments for planted show. She only wants to become number one in the television industry. In her number one race, she kept thinking about the Planted shows. In her recent segment of the Saas Bahu series, she plants that show having argument between Saas and Bahu.

She is the one who has an interest in Saas bahu relations on the other hand other hosts have reached other levels of popularity.

Promoting so expensive shopping:

Nida Yasir plays with the emotions of Pakistani women. Nida Yasir is only good at shopping and then talking about branded things. She is the one who is brand conscious and promoted so expensive shopping on her morning show. Instead of having positive vibes, Specially Pakistani women come under the umbrella of complexity. Nida Yasir as a host should guide women and help them in achieving their goals but her focus is on the base which she applies, the dress from which designer she wears.

 

Beauty standard:

Nida Yasir also invites a guest who also just talks about the beauty standard she set. She keeps asking her guest what to do to achieve Gora's rang, to look slim and smart at home. She set another level of beauty standard for the society.

 

Stupid Question Galore:

Nida Yasir got the popularity by asking foolish questions to the audience. This means that she has lack knowledge about the current scenario. Every time throughout her show she proved that she has a lack of interest in general knowledge.

Wedding Functions:

She has much confidence that she even shows wedding series on her morning show. It is strange that now we have to see wedding functions on the morning shows. On the other side, she helps the poor girl to get married by supporting them but it really makes sense to show on morning shows. She has no other concern other than raising the rating for her show.

No doubt Nida Yasir is a good host but she should work on her to promote positive things. She should guide the audience to have self-respect and an independent approach. Other than that there are several talented people so the management should give chance to others as well.
