Mery Pass Tum ho
Mery Pass Tum Ho is basically a love triangle between Mehwish, Danish, and Shehwaar. This drama teaches us that only love is not adequate to live a happy life. The drama revolves around the two main characters that are Ayeza as Mehwish and Hamayun Saeed as Danish. Mehwish and Danish have appeared as husband and wife on-screen with a different mindsets. Mehwish is a girl who has a materialistic approach and Danish is the one who has a family-oriented approach. Mehwish has certain expectations that Danish is unable to fulfill. Most of the footage is given to the relationship between husband and wife. Danish tries his best, but all of that he can not give Mehwish what is wishes for. Mehwish wants to marry a rich man Shehwaar, but all in a vain. In the end, for the sake of money she loses her important relations.
Conclusion
In this drama, Khalil-ur-Rehman negatively portrays women. He through his writing put light on the Philosophy of love and unfaithfulness behavior. He shows inappropriate dialogue for women in a drama. His famous dialogue is "Do taky ki Aurat". This dialogue is very debatable in our society. This drama is written by Man that's why he portrays the negative qualities of a woman. If the media portray such things on screen then how do we expect respect for women from the general public? Media has a great impact on our generation. Many ladies come on one stage to put criticism on Khalil-ur-Rehman. Many controversial things happened in this drama and the bold scenes. He supports man whatever he is doing right or wrong. He is of the view that if a woman commits a sin then she will be punished. But on the other hand, Same is done by a man then it will ok for him. The drama has not fulfilled the criteria of equal rights for both men and women. I conclude my article by saying that you have no right to use inappropriate words for women. It is against the Islamic teaching and Moral standard that use bad adjectives for women. The media should ban such types of toxic drama that plays with the minds of the young generation.
Well done.
